Syspro maps AI-led overhaul, M&A push and new brand

Thu, 22nd Jan 2026

Syspro has outlined plans for an AI-driven modernisation of its manufacturing and distribution platform, alongside recent acquisitions and the launch of a new global brand.

The company said it has progressed to a cloud-first strategy while expanding its use of AI and automation, pointing to continued growth in subscription adoption and annual recurring revenue. Syspro targets mid-market manufacturers and distributors, positioning its software to address ongoing supply chain pressure, labour shortages, and rising operational complexity. It said customers are increasingly seeking industry-specific systems and greater use of cloud, automation and AI.

Syspro described the work as part of a multi-year modernisation programme tied to changes in its platform architecture and product roadmap. As part of that effort, the company plans to expand its AI capabilities in 2026, including further development of Syspro AI Studio. The environment is designed to support the creation and deployment of AI models and agents aligned with manufacturing and distribution workflows.

The company also highlighted Syspro Marketplace, an ecosystem for extensions, integrations and add-ons aimed at specialised industrial use cases. Syspro positioned the marketplace as a way to broaden functionality while supporting more tailored workflows for manufacturing and distribution businesses.

Over the past year, Syspro has completed several acquisitions, including NexSys, DataSCOPE, riteSOFT, Cadacus IP and Evocon. It said the deals expanded its capabilities across factory automation, warehousing and shopfloor intelligence, while extending coverage across production, inventory and operational processes. The activity reflects a wider trend of consolidation in industrial software, as vendors seek to strengthen end-to-end platforms.

Syspro also reported growth in its partner ecosystem, increasing its network to 26 elite partners. It pointed to deeper work with integration and CRM providers, including an iPaaS partnership with Versori and a standardised, pre-tested integration between Syspro ERP and SugarCRM. These efforts aim to reduce reliance on bespoke integrations and simplify data exchange between systems.

The company named several new manufacturing and distribution customers added during 2025, including BAK Foods, Columbia Cascade, Driveline, Goodman Medical, Ken's Foods, Kiira Motors, Ocean Pier, Pro-Line Fittings, S.M. Arnold, Sublime Desserts, Sunrise Farms and Touchpoint Inc. While Syspro did not disclose contract values or regional breakdowns, it reported overall revenue growth and double-digit annual recurring revenue growth.

Alongside its platform and ecosystem updates, Syspro announced new senior leadership appointments across product, customer success, go-to-market and global operations. It also introduced a refreshed brand positioning under the message "Smarter. Faster. Built for Your Industry", which the company said reflects its focus on industrial and distribution customers, partners and employees it refers to as "True Pros".

"Syspro is undergoing a generational transformation," said Leanne Taylor, chief revenue officer at Syspro. "We are modernising our platform, expanding our ecosystem, and sharpening our focus on customer outcomes. Our strong revenue performance and accelerating subscription growth validate this direction. Our purpose has never been clearer: give mid-market manufacturers and distributors the digital foundation they need to run efficiently and more profitably today while preparing for the opportunities of tomorrow."

Syspro said it will continue investing in its cloud-first platform while expanding its AI and marketplace offerings through 2026.
