HP customers have been invited to a discussion and demonstration of the latest combined solution from the tech firm's partnership with Microsoft and Citrix.
The session, to be held at Microsoft's Auckland office on Tuesday, will launch HP's Next Generation virtualisation solution.
Representatives from each of the companies will speak, and there will be a live demonstration of how the solution works.
"While the benefits of virtualisation have been well touted... desktop virtualisation is still an emerging technology for many New Zealand companies,” the event invitation reads.
HP says the solution is available for deploy now, and is currently being trialled in Australia by a hospital, a hotel chain and a government department.
