Telecommunication providers had a strong showing in this year’s Deloitte Fast 50, which ranks the fastest growing companies in New Zealand.At number 4, Telesmart was the highest ranked provider with 725.81% revenue growth. The company sells end-to-end voice and data solutions, and had a turnover in the last financial year of $3.3 million. It partners with Samsung, NEC, Shoretel and Zeacom.Telesmart director Nigel Barker says the company began three years ago and he puts its strong growth down to the fact that people are becoming more “prudent” and are therefore looking to one supplier. Other telecommunication companies to feature are TracMap (8), Farmside (18) Velocity Networks (29), Telemetry Research (34) and Mobile Mentor (35) and Digital Island (41).
