Telecom New Zealand has appointed former Weber Shandwick APAC CEO Andrew Pirie as head of communications.
The telco firm says Pirie will be in charge of external and internal communications as well as government and community relations.
"This is a great opportunity to work at a senior level in New Zealand's largest listed company, which is set to move forward strongly under new CEO Simon Moutter," Pirie says.
Pirie leaves his role at Boag Allan Pirie to take up the position, following jobs at NGage Communications and GolinHarris.
