Telecom takes Vodafone to court

FYI, this story is more than a year old
Telecom has taken industry rival Vodafone to court, over what the telco believes is a "misleading" advertising campaign.
Applying for a High Court injunction, Telecom has requested the alteration or abolishment of Vodafone's SuperNet advertising campaign, describing the company's infrastructure as the "best fixed-line network."
Speaking on behalf of Telecom, spokesman Andrew Pirie said the company believes the advert was "misleading to consumers and is therefore in breach of the Fair Trading Act."
Vodafone is set to officially respond to the issue shortly.
