Toshiba has announced the appointment of Robert Wilkinson as the General Manager of the Information Systems Division (ISD) Toshiba (Australia) effective December 8, 2009.Wilkinson will be charged with the responsible for ISD including the notebook business for the B2B and B2C segments and the Audio Visual (AV) business, including an extensive range of LCD televisions, DVD and Blu-ray players and LCD/DVD combos.Wilkinson takes over from Mark Whittard, who is now the Managing Director of Toshiba (Australia) Pty Limited, including ISD, the Electronic Imaging Division, Medical Division, Research and Development and Corporate Services Division.Wilkinson has been with Toshiba for 12 years. Until a replacement is announced, Wilkinson will continue in his previous role as the National Channel Business Manager as well as General Manager of ISD.
