The annual NZ Hi-Tech Awards are coming up again, and businesses have just under one month to submit their entries for a chance to be recognised as one of the country’s leading technology companies.
Established in 1993, the awards recognise achievement in hardware, software and services innovation, as well as in special categories such as Best Hi-Tech Start-up.
Most Innovative Mobile Technology has gained its own category after featuring last year in the Most Innovative Product from an Emerging Market award.
Another new category is Best Contribution by a Multinational Company, which recognises contributions to the New Zealand industry by businesses that are based offshore.
Previous major prize winners include well-known companies such as Datacom, Navman, Endace and Xero.
Entry is free, and businesses can enter in as many categories as they like. March 5 is the cut-off date, though, so go here to find out more.
