Hesitancy to invest prior to the rollout of Ultra-Fast Broadbandis not slowing the local market for networking space, according to the Vice Presidentof a prominent provider.
Juniper Networks’ ANZ vice president, Mark Iles, has toldindustry paper Communications Day that Juniper is increasing its investment inthe region in response to the strength of the market.
Uncertainty over UFB is being outweighed by growth in data centers, cloud computing and other emerging broadband environments, Iles says.
"Everyone seems to have access to finance,” Iles says, "whichis unusual.
"This is not a cheap country to borrow money. If you’re abusiness at the moment, it’s relatively expensive and quite difficult to getcredit.
