Verbatim has announced the launch of its new brand identity, marking a significant milestone in the company's ongoing evolution. The updated logo was unveiled for the first time at Computex in Taipei, in early June.

Established in 1969, Verbatim has a long-standing history in the storage industry, initially gaining recognition for its floppy discs during the PC revolution. Over the years, the company has evolved to become a leading name in the global market for blank optical media discs, including CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays, as well as a provider of various computer storage devices and accessories.

The decision to rebrand with a new logo is rooted in Verbatim's effort to reflect its identity as a forward-thinking organisation. The company aims to modernise its image and simplify its visual identity, reinforcing its role as a crucial provider of storage and accessory solutions in today's digital age.

Clive Alberts, Global CEO of Verbatim, commented on the rebranding initiative: "Our objective in redesigning the logo was to modernise, simplify, and align with the digitally driven world. Through our new tagline 'Anywhere. Everyday.' we position Verbatim as an 'essential' companion for everyday life, whether it's for work or leisure, anywhere across the globe."

The new logo will be integrated across all Verbatim platforms, including websites, packaging, and marketing materials. Its contemporary design is intended to reflect the company's ongoing commitment to innovation, reliability, and accessibility in an interconnected world.

In addition to the new branding, Verbatim is set to introduce a variety of new products at Computex this year. Alberts noted, "We are thrilled to also introduce a raft of new products at Computex this year. Among them are our newly designed external and internal SSDs and an array of accessories including high-resolution 4K portable monitors, powerful GaN chargers, multifunctional power plugs, versatile multiport hubs, an assortment of MyFinder bluetooth trackers, and a host of other exciting products."

The product lineup aims to address the diverse needs of modern consumers, offering solutions for professional, educational, and entertainment purposes. These innovations intend to enhance user experience, emphasising portability and functionality.

Verbatim's products are globally recognised and sold in over 120 countries. The company's product range includes optical storage media and USB flash drives, memory cards, hard drives, solid-state drives (SSDs), mobile and desktop accessories, gaming accessories, and LED lighting solutions.

Originally from the US, Verbatim now has its global headquarters in Eschborn, Germany, with its Melbourne office handling the Australian and New Zealand markets.
