Yesterday

Titania has announced the appointment of Victoria Dimmick as Chief Executive Officer.

The new appointment is set against a backdrop of increased focus on operational resilience within cybersecurity and regulation, with rising threats to critical national infrastructure. Victoria Dimmick brings considerable experience from her roles at technology companies including Piriform, Intechnica, Netacea, and Maltego.

Victoria's appointment represents a strategic step for Titania as it aims to expand its offerings in proactive security, leveraging its established Nipper Enterprise solution. "I'm thrilled to join Titania at such a pivotal moment in the cybersecurity landscape. My experience with enterprise and government clients in both the U.S. and Europe has shown me the critical importance of proactive security measures, especially as threats from state-sponsored cyberattacks grow more sophisticated. Titania's mission to ensure operational readiness and resilience is one I'm passionate about advancing," said Victoria Dimmick.

Under her leadership, Titania will aim to assist organisations in shifting from reactive to proactive security approaches. This involves identifying vulnerabilities in real-time to tackle threats from groups such as Volt, Salt, and Flax Typhoon. The rise in cybersecurity attacks and compliance demands like CORA, DORA, and NIS2 underscore the necessity for solutions that facilitate real-time monitoring and risk-focused remediation.

Tom Beese, Executive Chairman at Titania, remarked, "Victoria's expertise in scaling technology businesses and driving operational efficiency makes her the ideal leader for Titania's next phase. Her deep understanding of cybersecurity and compliance will ensure Titania continues to deliver innovative solutions that meet the challenges of today's threat landscape."

Titania's principal solution, Nipper Enterprise, performs automated vulnerability assessments on critical network infrastructure, detecting misconfigurations and prioritising necessary remediations to preclude potential attack vectors. This approach provides organisations with a comprehensive understanding of their vulnerabilities, helping safeguard against disruptions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Victoria Dimmick possesses a specialised background in scaling high-growth technology businesses, encompassing expertise in strategic development, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Her previous roles have included the successful sale of companies such as Piriform and Intechnica, where she significantly contributed to their expansion and eventual market exits.

Titania's software solutions have been adopted by elite cyber teams for over a decade, enhancing the security postures of network devices and ensuring compliance with varied regulations. Based in the UK and Arlington, VA, Titania partners with an expanding network to bolster cybersecurity frameworks for critical infrastructure, prioritising operational readiness and resilience amidst potential threats.
