Fri, 5th Apr 2024

VivaTech just revealed the lineup for its 2024 event, set to take place in Paris from 22-25 May.

The event signifies a significant moment for AI, sustainability, and mobility, with 30% more international guests than the previous instalments. Innovations from Esper Bionics and Vitafluence, industry insights from global leaders such as Arthur Mensch and Dario Amodei, and the event's first-ever collaboration with Tesla are amongst some of the noteworthy highlights for this year.

The annual VivaTech event is one of Europe's largest gatherings dedicated to tech startups, renowned for its extensive reach and emphasis on critical themes like AI, sustainable tech, and mobility. The 2024 event will welcome participants from over 120 countries and 40 pavilions, emphasising its growing international reputation.

Among the anticipated features is a new program aimed at facilitating growth and innovation amongst business leaders. Additionally, 10% of the exhibiting space will be dedicated to responsible tech, including the Impact Bridge — a collaborative area for startups, innovative technology, and non-profit associations.

In the realm of artificial intelligence, 88% of business leaders involved in the event have expressed their intent to invest in AI technologies in 2024. The event will debut the AI Mile, a dedicated space showcasing innovators in the field, such as Esper Bionics and Vitafluence, who are leveraging AI for revolutionary applications.

VivaTech 2024's focus on sustainability resonates with the survey findings that 93% of European and US respondents consider tech to be a significant ally in addressing future challenges. This year's edition will showcase sustainable technologies such as Agrist's AI-powered robots for agriculture and Value Park's renewable cold production from marine resources.

An exciting development in the mobility sector is VivaTech's first collaboration with Tesla, demonstrating a significant overlap of AI and sustainability. Key presentations from Peugeot / Stellantis and others aim to cement the event as a premier destination for mobility innovation.

VivaTech's Managing Director François Bitouzet expressed that "To decipher these new trends and understand their impact on our economies but also on our societies, our political systems and our planet, VivaTech 2024 brings together for four days the best in innovation and tech ecosystems."

The 2024 event is set to host impressive speakers from various sectors and organizations, including Bernard Arnault from LVMH, Linda Yaccarino from X, Mitchell Baker from Mozilla, and special guest John Kerry, to name a few.

Impressively, this year's VivaTech event will feature Japan as the 'Country of the Year', granting the nation an exclusive platform to showcase its technological ecosystem.

As the 2024 edition approaches, VivaTech continues to accelerate innovation by fostering connectivity amongst startups, tech leaders, major companies, and investors who strive to address global challenges.
