WalkMe has announced the release of WalkMeX, an advanced AI copilot designed for enterprises. Built on WalkMe's Digital Adoption Platform (DAP), WalkMeX aims to provide users with proactive, contextual advice across a wide array of applications. This innovation is positioned to address the increasing complexity and rapid evolution of technology in the workplace.
A survey of 1,000 office workers revealed that while 54% use AI tools at work, nearly half (49%) see no significant improvement in their productivity. Additionally, more than a third (34%) feel overwhelmed by the fast pace of technological change and the plethora of applications and tools they need to learn. WalkMeX seeks to mitigate these issues by offering universal and proactive AI assistance, thus enhancing user experience and productivity.
Dan Adika, CEO and Co-founder of WalkMe, said, "Over the past decade, WalkMe has built a deep understanding of how people interact with technology in the enterprise. By combining our patented AI technology, DeepUI, with the power of general-purpose large language models, we've created a copilot that can understand a user's context and intent and provide personalised assistance right in the flow of work."
WalkMeX enhances user experience and efficiency through several key features. It provides contextual assistance by understanding the user's current tasks, ensuring relevant help aligns with their objectives. This platform is universal, offering always-on AI support across any web application, and is proactive in delivering real-time, relevant recommendations. Additionally, WalkMeX is accessible to employees of all technical levels, making its AI capabilities usable by everyone.
Moreover, WalkMeX is actionable, offering tailored next steps to improve task efficiency and accuracy. By catering to the user's immediate goals, it ensures precise and effective guidance throughout their workflows.
With WalkMeX, businesses can offer employees proactive advice based on the context of their role and task, using tools like GenAI to assist with various activities, whether it be completing employee evaluations or drafting articles for CMS. WalkMeX's capability to work across all applications ensures a seamless user experience, empowering users to maximise the benefits of AI and copilots in their daily workflows.
Aaron Purcell, Managing Director and Innovation Leader at KPMG, commented on the potential impact of WalkMeX on their operations: "Generative AI has immense potential, but only if everyone is using it, every day, in the right ways. WalkMe is being heavily leveraged to support our Generative AI strategy at KPMG. WalkMeX's ability to use context to serve up GenAI capabilities to our employees can significantly accelerate the value we get from these tools."
Steffaney Zohrabyan, Sales Enablement Innovation and Insights at Cisco, added, "The rapid rise of generative AI is exciting, but adoption is key to unlocking its true value. WalkMeX acts as a universal copilot, making AI proactive, accessible, and actionable and empowering people to participate fully in this transformation."
Gina Smith, PhD, Research Director, IT Skills for Digital Business practice at IDC, emphasised the innovation underlying WalkMeX: "Contextual intelligence and omnipresence across the digital enterprise position WalkMeX right where users are most likely to benefit from AI capabilities infused in their work. By understanding behaviour and intent and providing highly relevant assistance right when and where it's needed across truly any application is certainly innovative. These capabilities provide a human-centric advantage."
WalkMeX builds upon WalkMe's broader Digital Adoption Platform, which offers comprehensive analytics to manage adoption, usage, and results. This integration aims to meet the challenges of successful AI transformation at scale, ensuring that all teams—from sales and HR to IT and finance—can harness the full potential of AI to enhance productivity and efficiency.
