White & Case rolls out Legora AI platform worldwide

Mon, 12th Jan 2026

White & Case has announced a global rollout of Legora's collaborative AI platform across its international network of 43 offices.

The firm said the deployment will extend to all its lawyers across 29 countries in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific. White & Case said it had selected Legora as a strategic partner.

The move adds to a growing wave of large law firms adopting AI tools for document review, drafting and research. Vendors have marketed these systems around workflow automation and knowledge retrieval. Law firms have also increased scrutiny of governance, security and adoption as use widens across practice groups and regions.

Strategic partner

White & Case described the partnership as part of its approach to AI and innovation. The firm said it combines partnerships with legal technology companies with the development of internal tools.

"We are delighted to enter this partnership with Legora, a company whose vision and ambition reflects our own," said Dipen Sabharwal, Partner and a Member of White & Case's Executive Committee, White & Case. "This partnership is part of our strategic approach to AI and innovation, which combines partnering with market leading legal technology companies while also building custom internal solutions. We are impressed by Legora's pace of innovation, openness to collaboration, and commitment to shaping its platform to our needs. We are excited by the opportunities for everyone at our Firm to create solutions that serve our clients and empower our people."

White & Case operates across corporate and finance work, disputes, and restructuring. The firm said the Legora platform will sit inside legal workflows used for complex matters.

White & Case said it will use the system for review, drafting and research. The announcement did not include financial terms.

Product work

The agreement also covers joint work on new products and solutions between the two organisations. White & Case and Legora said they will collaborate beyond the initial deployment.

One of the products referenced is the Legora Portal. The companies described it as a tool focused on collaboration between law firms and in-house legal teams. They said it uses AI-based workflows.

Legora said the partnership with White & Case will involve a focus on adoption as the rollout progresses across the firm's international footprint.

"We're proud to partner closely with White & Case, a truly global law firm with a rich history and ambitious goals. Together, we'll develop the future of AI-driven legal work and enable their teams to leverage AI to focus on what matters most: delivering consistent, world-class quality outcomes for clients at a global scale," said Max Junestrand, CEO and Co-Founder, Legora.

"Real change at this scale requires a lot of hard work and a focus on adoption. Working with the White & Case team throughout the initial phase of this partnership has been nothing short of exceptional. We look forward to entering the next stage to ensure the global rollout is successful," said Junestrand.

Legora growth

Legora said it has expanded headcount over the past 12 months from 40 to 250 team members. It said it now has teams in Stockholm, London, New York, Denver, Sydney and Bengaluru.

The company said its platform supports tens of thousands of lawyers each day. It said it has 600 customers in more than 50 markets. The company did not specify the revenue contribution from law firms versus in-house legal teams.

Legora also set out an expansion plan for the coming year. It said it expects to more than double in size and open additional global hubs as it serves what it described as a rapidly expanding international client base.

White & Case and Legora said the partnership will move into its next stage as the deployment reaches all lawyers across the firm's global platform.
