Win a free pass to Tel.Con12

Wed, 4th Apr 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The New Zealand telecommunications sector’s premier event, Tel.Con12, kicks off in just under two weeks, and TechDay and the Technology Investment Network (TIN) have a free pass to give away to one telco industry up-and-comer.

To be held on April 17 and 18, the conference features a top speaker lineup including industry CEOs like Vodafone’s Russell Stanners, TelstraClear’s Allan Freeth and 2degrees’ Eric Hertz, as well as analysts and international contributors.

Simon Hendery, TechDay columnist and TIN research and publication manager, will be chairing the event.

Attendance costs $2495+GST, but Conferenz have given TIN one pass to sponsor an attendee who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend.

Greg Shanahan, director of TIN, says he’s delighted to be able to give a pass to one lucky guest.

"It is vital we encourage knowledge sharing as New Zealand continues its journey towards growing more export-focused hi-tech companies,” Shanahan says.

To qualify for consideration for the free pass, applicants must work in the telco sector, be able to demonstrate that attending TelCon12 would benefit themselves and their organisation, and show that they would not otherwise be able to attend the event.

If you’re keen to attend, tell us why you’d like to go along in the comments below, and we’ll pick a winner by early next week. Go here for more on the conference.
