Xirrus appoints new ANZ country manager

Wireless networking company Xirrus today announced the appointment of Joe Arcuri as country manager for Australia and New Zealand.

With 22 years of IT industry experience under his belt, Arcuri has spent time in various areas of the industry, including technical support, quality control, business development, sales and general management, and has worked for vendors including IBM, CA Technologies and distributors within the ANZ market.

Arcuri will report to Allan Smith, vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan, where he will be responsible for all channel and sales strategies, partner communications, and client liaising, as well as overseeing sales teams across the two countries.

"Joe has the broad and deep experience in leadership and IT Industry sales that will be a momentous asset to Xirrus as we broaden our reach across the ANZ region," said Smith.  "We have no doubt that Joe will help the sales team and channel partners excel to their full potential and we are thrilled to welcome him to Xirrus."
