The ever-changing landscape of the ICT industry causes numerous headaches for many a Kiwi across the country.
But wait, you're not alone…
Sharing thoughts on the battleground that is the ICT industry, War stories from the ICT Trenches heads to Auckland this month - offering a refreshing insight into world we live in.
Kicking off on Thursday October 31, the event figures prominent market figures such as Ian Miller, Luigi Cappel and Kevin Andreassend, War stories from the ICT Trenches proves we're not alone in this fast-paced industry.
Owner of Nutshell, supplying personal wireless accessory products since 1997, Miller was previously a radio journalist, news reader, Technology writer, voice-over guy and narrator of Talking Books for the Blind.
Looking to return to his roots, Miller is currently focussed on incorporating new materials in his products and has discovered that locally sourced possum, those pests of the environment, are perfect; their pelt are naturally anti-static - making them ideal to line cases.
Managing Director, SoLoMo Consulting Ltd, Past President of the NZ Wireless Forum, Past VP SMEINZ, Cappel on the other hand is a long time member of Auckland ICT.
With years of experience within the industry, Cappel asks how do people find out about your company, your skills and specialist expertise? How do they even know they might want to?
Ever thought of writing a eBook and getting it published, but not sure where to start? What about a blog? Why would you bother, how do you measure success and how do you achieve it?
Not forgetting Andreassend however. As MD of ICE AV Technology Ltd, he started his journey in the audiovisual sector literally under the dining room table as a 7 year old.
Today his company has a major focus on the international market with interactive, display and simulations technology.
