Zoho opens Parramatta office amid strong ANZ growth
Zoho has opened a new office in Sydney.
The Parramatta site will house teams from Zoho and ManageEngine, expanding a local presence in Sydney that dates to 2019. The opening follows a year of growth across customers, partners and staff in Australia and New Zealand.
In ANZ, Zoho reported year-on-year growth of 30 per cent in customers, 44 per cent in channel partners and 42 per cent in local headcount. Revenue rose 9 per cent. The business also hired its first employees in New Zealand and expanded its Adelaide office.
ManageEngine, the group's IT management division, reported 15 per cent year-on-year growth in the region and 40 per cent growth in cloud. It is establishing a Sydney presence to be closer to large enterprise customers and partners.
Regional growth
Parramatta is an emerging commercial centre in western Sydney, and the new office brings the business closer to organisations outside the city's traditional central business district. The site will support teams serving customers and partners across Australia and New Zealand.
ManageEngine works with more than 100 channel partners in the region, including systems integrators and managed service providers. It is also working with Australian industry federations and government bodies as it looks to broaden its enterprise network.
Rakesh Prabhakar, Head of Zoho ANZ, linked the opening to the company's broader regional expansion.
"The momentum we have seen in ANZ over FY2024/25 reflects a deliberate effort to scale Zoho's enterprise footprint in the region. At a time when organisations are rethinking their software stack amid the rapid rise of AI, Zoho stands out through the platform unification approach, its long-term product philosophy, and ability to help businesses modernise without adding unnecessary complexity or cost," Prabhakar said.
"Our growth across customers, partners and local teams shows that this approach is working. With deeper investments on the ground across the region, we are well positioned to support larger and more complex organisations as they look for a future-ready technology partner."
ManageEngine focus
The office will also support ManageEngine's local expansion as demand shifts across on-premises, cloud and hybrid technology environments. The division said AI is becoming a bigger factor in enterprise IT management and infrastructure decisions.
Vinayak Sreedhar, ManageEngine's Australia and New Zealand Country Manager, said the Parramatta location was chosen as the business scales its regional presence.
"Since first launching in the region, ManageEngine has steadily scaled its footprint and capabilities to support customers across Australia and New Zealand," Sreedhar said.
"Parramatta is quickly being recognised as a fast-growing commercial and technology hub, and establishing a new office in such a key location gives us the space and infrastructure to support our people, partners and customers as we continue to grow."
Sreedhar also addressed the role of AI in the company's product strategy.
"With AI becoming embedded into the fabric of enterprise infrastructure, IT management is undergoing another pivotal shift. Through its unified platform approach, ManageEngine has been able to deliver a comprehensive, secure and AI-driven ecosystem covering networks, servers, security, service desks, Active Directory, applications and endpoints," he said.
Zoho, founded in India and privately held, said it serves more than 150 million users and more than one million paying customers globally. It also operates 20 data centres worldwide.
The opening continues a period of hiring and office expansion in the region, with Sydney and Adelaide now complemented by an initial employee presence in New Zealand and a larger base in Parramatta.
