Accenture & Snowflake launch group to accelerate AI adoption

Thu, 4th Dec 2025

Accenture and Snowflake have established a joint business group to support global enterprises in accelerating their adoption of artificial intelligence and data transformation. The new group aims to enable organisations to harness cloud and AI technologies amid pressure to reinvent operations and business models.

Business group

The Accenture Snowflake Business Group brings together Accenture's sector expertise, business transformation capabilities, and its AI Refinery platform with Snowflake's enterprise data and AI platform. The business group is supported by a pool of more than 5,000 Accenture SnowPro-certified staff, focusing on assisting clients to migrate data to the cloud, create AI-ready data estates, and advance AI initiatives.

A global Centre of Excellence will be jointly established, with teams from both companies working alongside clients to co-develop assets and solutions, apply emerging technologies, and accelerate implementation of AI strategies.

Client projects

Caterpillar, one of the world's largest industrial equipment manufacturers, is working with Accenture and Snowflake to improve use of its operational data. The collaboration includes Caterpillar's IT AI Centre of Excellence, Accenture's manufacturing and AI experience, and Snowflake's AI Data Cloud. Areas of focus include improved manufacturing quality, faster insights for finance, and enhanced knowledge management for complex work processes.

According to recent Accenture research, 85% of c-suite leaders anticipate increased investment in AI this year, with 67% regarding AI primarily as a way to drive revenue growth rather than reduce costs.

Collaboration approach

The business group will leverage Accenture's relationships within the technology ecosystem and its knowledge of industry requirements. The Accenture AI Refinery platform will also be used to help clients commence customised data journeys and build capabilities using Snowflake's scalable, governed AI Data Cloud platform.

"In today's rapidly evolving market, companies are under immense pressure to reinvent their operations and business models to stay ahead," said Manish Sharma, Chief Strategy and Services Officer, Accenture. "The Accenture Snowflake Business Group will help clients to better leverage Snowflake's unique foundation of reliable, accessible, contextualised data, coupled with Accenture's ability to unlock the power of advanced AI for clients faster."

Jamie Engstrom, CIO, Caterpillar, said: "Our work with Accenture and Snowflake marks a major step forward in our journey to become a truly AI-and-data-driven organisation. Our collaboration, coupled with the Caterpillar IT AI COE, will allow us to make faster, data-informed decisions that improve efficiency, enhance quality, and deliver greater value."

"Our partnership with Accenture has empowered hundreds of organisations to unlock AI's potential and reveal previously unimaginable insights," said Sridhar Ramaswamy, CEO, Snowflake. "The Accenture Snowflake Business Group combines Accenture's industry-leading business reinvention experience with Snowflake's enterprise-ready, easy, connected, and trusted platform. This collaboration enables enterprises to achieve their full potential with AI and data, transforming how they harness data to build next-generation AI-powered applications, drive better decision-making, and maximise their data's potential for AI innovation."
