Altimetrik named major contender in Everest Group QE assessment

Fri, 16th Jan 2026

Altimetrik has been named a "major contender" in the latest Everest Group PEAK Matrix assessment for enterprise quality engineering (QE) services. The review assessed 52 providers using the PEAK Matrix framework, which examines market impact, vision, and capability.

Everest Group said providers ranked as "major contenders" demonstrate ongoing investment in talent and partnerships, leadership commitment, and commercial flexibility, supported by strong credentials in delivering quality engineering engagements.

The research firm highlighted Altimetrik's blended delivery model, which combines onshore and offshore teams. Everest Group noted that enterprises valuing both cost efficiency and close collaboration may find this approach attractive. The firm also pointed to Altimetrik's track record with smaller QE engagements, supported by repeatable proof points, which demonstrate execution rigour for focused project scopes.

"Altimetrik's blended delivery model, integrating both onshore and offshore capabilities, has enabled it to combine cost efficiency with close collaboration," said Ankit Nath, Practise Director, Everest Group.

Quality engineering involves methods and services designed to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle. This includes testing strategy, test automation, test data management, and performance testing. Many enterprise buyers now treat QE as a continuous function integrated across product teams rather than as a standalone phase.

Service providers increasingly position QE within broader digital engineering and transformation programs. Buyers consider delivery models, access to skills, and experience in regulated environments, particularly in sectors such as financial services and healthcare.

Altimetrik described its methodology as "AI-infused" and "AI-first," linking these practices to its software development lifecycle and digital engineering delivery model.

"Being recognised as a Major Contender underscores the strength of Altimetrik's AI-infused QE capabilities and the critical role quality plays in our AI-first delivery model," said Farid Roshan, Global Head – AI Infused Digital, Altimetrik.

Roshan detailed how the company embeds automation and AI across development workflows: "From automated test generation and optimisation to synthetic data and AI-driven test engineering, we are accelerating outcomes for our clients and raising the bar for digital execution. This milestone reflects the innovation and commitment of our teams and the differentiated value we consistently bring to the market."

Everest Group emphasised Altimetrik's execution strengths for smaller-scale engagements and incremental delivery, which help clients manage costs and programme risk.

"Its proven expertise in small-scale quality engineering engagements, supported by repeatable proof points, demonstrates execution rigor for focused scopes," Nath said. "These strengths enable clients to manage cost and to progress quality objectives incrementally with lower risk. These factors are reflected in Altimetrik's recognition as a Major Contender in Everest Group's Enterprise Quality Engineering (QE) Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2025."

Analyst rankings like the PEAK Matrix influence enterprise supplier shortlists, especially in markets where QE intersects with application modernisation, cloud migration, and the adoption of automation in software delivery.

Altimetrik positions itself as a data and digital engineering company, with nearly 10,000 practitioners worldwide. Its clients span sectors including banking, financial services and insurance, manufacturing, retail and consumer packaged goods, automotive, healthcare, and life sciences.

Everest Group's recognition provides another reference point for Altimetrik's capabilities in quality engineering, particularly around blended delivery models and execution of smaller engagements.
