Aqua Security celebrates consecutive year of channel growth
Tue, 23rd Apr 2024

Aqua Security has announced its successful consecutive year of notable channel growth. This news confirms Aqua Security's firm establishment as the go-to leader for service providers and partners in cloud-native security. The company's growth was mainly driven by the services-led approach of the Aqua Advantage programme under the leadership of Jeannette Lee Heung, Senior Director of Global Channel & Alliances.

In 2023, the Aqua Advantage programme reported remarkable expansion under Jeannette Lee Heung, with the partner pipeline being the fastest-growing within Aqua. The channel-driven revenue also accounted for over 80% of Aqua's total revenue. Lee Heung has been effective in expanding Aqua's channel team and fortified relationships in key Asia Pacific markets such as Singapore and Australia.

Lee Heung stated: "In 2023, Aqua made substantial strides in its partner programme. We prioritise quality strategic partnerships over quantity. Esteemed collaborators, including PwC, Accenture, GuidePoint Security, Netpoleon and evoila, have shown robust growth in solutions development, contributing to an active pipeline this past year."

Highlighting Aqua's strategy in the Asia Pacific region, Christopher Zamagias, Head of Channels & Alliances, Asia Pacific & Japan, said: "We are dedicated to enabling our partners to provide the best value to our customers. We are focusing on highly-rated industries such as FSI and Government. There is a strong need for education to support rapid digital transformation and a heightened awareness of cybersecurity risks."

Aqua Advantage looks beyond a product-centric approach to align technology, consulting services and customer needs, aiding partners in achieving their objectives and propelling their company's progress forward. This approach, coupled with a focus on creating lasting partnerships, positions Aqua's partners as trusted advisors and effectively meets their needs.

Aqua Advantage invested in enhancing sales and technical training in the past year, leading to over 200 Aqua Certified Sales and Technical accreditations. These resources empower partners to deploy and manage Aqua's technology efficiently, even for customers with limited staff or skill sets. Also, Aqua elevated its investments in the channel organisation in terms of higher headcount and greater market development activities globally.

Tricia Yeo, Country Manager of Netpoleon Solutions Singapore, an Aqua Security Distributor, stated: "As customers transition to the cloud, enablement is a vital component in their cloud-native journey. As partners and organisations prioritise cloud-native technologies, our collaboration with Aqua Security enables us to construct the channel to help our customers achieve their cloud transformations more rapidly."

As Aqua enters 2024, the company's partner programme will have a more robust focus on driving customer outcomes through advisory and consulting services delivered by partners. Notably, Aqua has also earned recognition from CRN, being named a 2024 Cloud 100 and 2024 Security 100 company, in addition to Aqua Advantage's inclusion in its 2024 Partner Program Guide.
