CloudBolt & CloudEagle.ai join forces for SaaS savings

Mon, 11th Nov 2024

CloudBolt Software has announced a strategic partnership with CloudEagle.ai to address the challenges associated with cloud and SaaS management, aiming to enhance returns on cloud investments for enterprises.

The collaboration involves integrating CloudEagle.ai's AI-driven SaaS optimisation and governance tools with CloudBolt's existing cloud cost optimisation platform. The companies intend to assist IT teams in reducing inefficiencies related to SaaS licensing and achieving continuous cost savings with minimal effort.

With SaaS Management Platform (SMP) and Cloud Cost Management (CCM) markets currently valued at approximately USD $4 billion and experiencing a compound annual growth rate of 15-18%, there is a growing demand for effective SaaS optimisation solutions. However, many enterprises face challenges in managing cloud and SaaS spending due to compartmentalised solutions that do not provide a holistic view of expenses.

As the field of cloud financial operations, known as FinOps, becomes more sophisticated, organisations seek integrated tools to manage cloud and SaaS governance comprehensively. The partnership between CloudBolt and CloudEagle.ai addresses this demand by offering a cohesive approach.

Kyle Campos, Chief Technology and Product Officer at CloudBolt, said, "The reality for today's cloud consumers is an overwhelming amount of 'sources of truth. The goal is currently and will always be to get to the total cost of ownership for cloud costs. Today's announcement represents CloudBolt putting another stake in the ground to make this a reality. By partnering with CloudEagle.ai, we intend to simplify and unify the fragmented landscape of cloud and SaaS management to achieve greater returns on cloud investments for our customers."

This new alliance aims to provide enhanced cost visibility by leveraging CloudBolt's tools alongside CloudEagle.ai's benchmark data to identify and tackle SaaS optimisation opportunities. Another collaboration feature is a unified dashboard experience, allowing access to CloudEagle.ai's key performance indicators (KPIs) within the CloudBolt platform for a comprehensive overview of cloud and SaaS expenditures.

The partnership also focuses on continuous optimisation, which uses the CloudBolt FinOps platform to spotlight ongoing savings opportunities and streamline procurement and onboarding processes.

Nidhi Jain, CEO at CloudEagle.ai, said, "We believe this exciting new relationship will enable organisations to manage their cloud and SaaS expenditures like never before. By integrating our AI-driven SaaS optimisation solutions with CloudBolt's powerful platform, we jointly will be able to deliver unprecedented visibility and cost savings."

This initiative is part of CloudBolt's Tech Alliance program, which seeks to establish an ecosystem of integrated solutions that augment its proprietary development efforts. The program aims to enhance the CloudBolt Platform's cost capabilities by bringing together best-in-class FinOps-related solutions, thereby providing comprehensive cloud financial management to its clients.

The combined capabilities from this partnership are expected to become generally available in the CloudBolt Platform in the first quarter of 2025.
