CyberCX announces leadership changes for New Zealand operations
CyberCX, the leading cybersecurity and cloud services provider across New Zealand and Australia, today declared modifications to its executive leadership team in New Zealand. These changes aim to solidify CyberCX's standing as the leading force in cyber and cloud services across the Tasman, ensuring the company's continued growth and solidifying its reputation as the trusted cybersecurity partner for both enterprise and government organisations in New Zealand.
Brett Moore, the current CEO of CyberCX New Zealand, will transition to a Board Director role for the company. Concurrently, Tim Sewell, presently serving as the Chief Operating Officer, will assume the role of CEO. At CyberCX New Zealand, Moore, a veteran with 25 years of experience in the sector, has presided over a period of robust investment and significant growth.
John Paitaridis, CEO of CyberCX, expressed his confidence in the change in leadership. He extolled Moore's leadership, stating, "Brett has served with distinction as the leader of our New Zealand business. He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will continue to be of significant value to CyberCX and our customers as he takes up his Board Director role with CyberCX New Zealand."
In speaking to his decision to transition, Moore reflected on his time as CEO, saying, "I'm immensely proud of our achievements in New Zealand over the past few years as we've grown and scaled to deliver enterprise-grade cyber solutions to many of the country's largest and critical organisations. As CyberCX New Zealand's workforce and capabilities have increased, our mission and purpose has remained constant - securing and empowering our communities across Aotearoa."
Sewell, who will step into the CEO shoes in mid-November, began serving as COO of CyberCX New Zealand in 2021. "I'm excited and energised for the next phase of the CyberCX journey in New Zealand and across the Tasman, where we are seeing significant demand from businesses and government for support to improve their cyber resilience and accelerate their digital transformations," Sewell comments. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity sector and is a recognised thought leader committed to customer experience and advancing the cyber mission.
This announcement comes at the heels of the high-profile appointment of Dan Richardson as Executive Director of Strategy and Risk at CyberCX New Zealand. CyberCX is the leading provider of cybersecurity services across New Zealand and Australia, boasting a workforce of over 1300 cybersecurity professionals. It is a trusted partner to private and public sector organisations, helping customers handle cyber risk, respond to incidents, and build resilience in a challenging and complicated threat environment.
