FYI, this story is more than a year old

Filemaker’s Bento database application for the iPhone and iPod touch has sold over 100,000 copies, making it Apple’s most popular productivity app.

Bento, which costs $NZ 6.50 to download, can be used as a stand-alone application or can be synchronised with the Mac desktop version of Bento.

Since its May release, Bento has received critical acclaim from various media outlets, being named ‘Best App for Personal Databases’ by Best iPhone Apps (O'Reilly Media).

“Whether they want to take client information with them on the road, track trip expenses, create To Do lists, manage membership lists, get in shape or plan events, people are enthusiastically embracing Bento for iPhone and iPod touch to organise their busy lives,” said regional manager, Steve McManus.
