HP has announced the appointment of a new senior vice president to lead enterprise services in Asia Pacific as well as two new South Pacific region appointments.

David Caspari has taken up the role of senior vice president, enterprise services, for HP Asia Pacific and Japan, effective immediately. HP said Caspari will be responsible for business growth in its service portfolio across APJ, including applications, business processing and outsourcing services.

In the South Pacific region, Alan Bennett has taken up as vice president for enterprise services, reporting directly to Caspari. Bennett will be responsible for business growth in the core areas of infrastructure services, business process outsourcing and application solutions across the South Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand.

Bennett's previous position was within the government and defence enterprise services division at HP South Pacific. In this role, Bennett was responsible for leading growth and setting strategy to optimise new opportunities within the government and defence industries. Bennett joined the enterprise services division in 1995, and has since been responsible for helping secure major contract wins in both the government and corporate sectors.

HP has also appointed Archie Reed as chief technology officer for enterprise services in the region. In the newly created role, Reed will lead HP's cloud computing strategy in the South Pacific. Based in Sydney, he will offer guidance to clients across a wide range of areas including architecture, products, research and development, as well as cloud implementation in high-profile environments.
