Today

Ipsotek has announced a strategic partnership with Spark New Zealand to launch an advanced AI Computer Vision platform, Spark AI Vision, in New Zealand.

This collaboration will integrate Spark's digital infrastructure with Ipsotek's experience in AI Computer Vision to provide enterprise-grade video analytics for workplace safety, retail intelligence, and security operations.

"Our partnership with Ipsotek represents a significant milestone in bringing world-class AI capabilities to New Zealand businesses," said Michele Wong, Internet of Things and Solution Lead at Spark New Zealand. "We're enabling organisations to extract meaningful insights from their existing camera infrastructure while solving critical business challenges."

Initial implementation of Spark AI Vision has yielded positive outcomes, such as at United Industries. Ben Hammond, Group Health and Safety Manager at United Industries Limited, noted, "At United Industries, we are working towards safety solutions that not only protect our workforce but have the potential to revolutionise the entire NZ construction industry. By partnering with Spark, we are working to utilise their AI Vision Health & Safety solutions with our existing CCTV cameras in high-risk areas of our steel operations. Our commitment to industry-led innovation is paving the way for smarter, safer workplaces across New Zealand."

Chris Bishop, Head of APAC at Ipsotek, commented on the partnership, "Our collaboration with Spark brings together our global expertise in AI-powered Computer Vision video analytics with Spark's deep understanding of the New Zealand market. This partnership will accelerate the adoption of smart video analytics across various sectors, driving operational efficiency and innovation."

Ipsotek's solutions utilise AI and Scenario-based Rules to analyse IP video streams in real-time, offering insights while maintaining privacy and security standards. Spark AI Vision can be incorporated with existing IP camera setups, providing a cost-efficient option for businesses seeking to upgrade their operations.

Dr Boghos Boghossian, CTO & Sales Director at Ipsotek, added, "The Partnership with Spark NZ marks another key collaboration with a leading telecom provider that is pioneering the value proposition of AI driven Computer Vision in the industry."

The Spark AI Vision platform aligns with Spark's strategy to offer comprehensive solutions that leverage connectivity, edge computing, and AI capabilities to tackle complex business problems. It is available with flexible deployment options for businesses in New Zealand.

As New Zealand's largest telecommunications and digital services company, Spark provides mobile, broadband, and digital services to millions of citizens and thousands of businesses.

Established in 2001, Ipsotek is a pioneer in the field of Artificial Intelligence Computer Vision and Scenario-based Rule Engine (SBRE) Video Analytics for mission critical applications.
