Ivanti extends ESM automation capabilities with latest additions
Ivanti has made additions to its Enterprise Service Management (ESM) portfolio, with greater automation capabilities between service management and SecOps.
Automation between Service Management and SecOps enables customers to improve security incident management, governance and compliance, and an organisation's overall security posture and responsiveness, the company states.
According to Ivanti, today not only must IT executives deliver business continuity during unprecedented times, they must also provide measurable ROI over the long term.
If IT wants to sit and be heard at the C-suite table, they must be able to show they can pinpoint where each dollar they spend goes. Rogue or unaccounted for assets can no longer go unnoticed and the days of casual tracking of asset purchases and licenses must end, the company states.
The specific additions include Ivanti Neurons for Spend Intelligence and integrated automations with SecOps on the Ivanti Neurons hyper-automation platform.
Ivanti Neurons for Spend Intelligence provides insights into an organisation's software landscape and application spend for on-premises, cloud and edge environments.
Ivanti Asset Manager combined with Ivanti Neurons for Spend Intelligence provides a detailed analysis of usage, license types, purchases, subscriptions, renewals and instances within minutes for effective usage tracking and spend management.
Automations for SecOps, featuring new automations and integration, improves governance and compliance, security incident management, and an organisation's overall security posture and responsiveness.
Automations for SecOps and Ivanti Neurons for Spend Intelligence are available now.
According to the company, Ivanti ESM solutions are designed to accelerate the self-healing and self-securing of devices while delivering personalised service and asset management experiences, anytime, anywhere.
For instance, the Ivanti Service Manager aims to deliver proactive, predictive and personalised service experiences for IT and other lines of business including HR and Facilities.
When combined with Ivanti Neurons for Spend Intelligence and automations for SecOps, the solution provides instant insights into an organisation's software and application spend and further aids security posture.
Ivanti senior director of product management Simon Geddes says, "IT and security operations teams require greater flexibility and scalability as they rapidly mobilise to manage and support today's remote and hybrid workforce.
"By delivering integrated automation, Ivanti is enabling a frictionless experience between Service Management and SecOps.
Demonstrating leadership in the IT service management (ITSM) market, Ivanti was positioned as a Leader in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Service Management Tools.
Ivanti Service Manager also received the highest score in the 2020 Gartner Critical Capabilities for IT Service Management Tools Intermediate-Maturity I-O Use Case and was the only vendor to be listed in the highest three across all four use cases.
