Jabra launches Evolve2 30 headset with concentration in mind
Thu, 18th Mar 2021
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Jabra's Evolve2 range of headsets just grew a little larger with the launch of the Evolve2 30 this week.

The lightweight 125-gram headset is designed for desk workers, no matter where they work.

Two microphones on a boom arm, 28mm speakers and a digital chipset support calls and media playback.

The Evolve2 30 comes in a Microsoft Teams certified variant that comes with a Teams button, enabling users to join and leave meetings with just one touch.

Jabra's Australia and New Zealand managing director David Piggott comments, “Collaboration and concentration continue to be the two key pillars of effective office work. With the right technology in place, a hybrid approach to working can mean getting the best from both worlds and increased productivity levels for any organisation. “

The headset also meets Microsoft Open Office requirements, which means it can suppress external office noise.

A single-sided busylight within turns on automatically when users are on a call. It can also be turned on manually to signal “do-not-disturb” to others.

The headband and slider are made with stainless steel yet they are durable and flexible. Jabra states it conducted ‘hundreds' of drop tests and boom-arm strength tests to make sure the Evolve 30 2 headset is able to stand the test of time even when used for long periods.

The Jabra Evolve2 30 is designed to support prolonged wear and evenly distributes pressure around the ears. The headset is built with premium soft memory foam ear cushions that mould to the ear's natural contours and ease the weight of the headset on users' heads.

The headset connects to devices through a USB A or C plug.

“The Jabra Evolve2 30 is designed at an affordable price-point for every user to be able to collaborate, concentrate, and experience comfort while working, whether at home or in the office. We are excited to launch a product that truly embodies the motto that work is no longer somewhere you go, but something you do,” concludes Piggott.

The Evolve2 30 (stereo) will be available at selected retailers for AU$132.50, while the Evolve2 30 (mono) retails for AU$120.
