Key Microsoft execs to present NZ SharePoint Conference
The agenda for the 5th annual New Zealand SharePoint Conference is out and this year it features senior Microsoft personnel from Redmond presenting the company’s vision for the new Office suite.
With the last 6 months some the busiest on record for the teams at Microsoft, new releases of key products including Windows, SharePoint, and the flagship Office productivity suite heralds much change – and potential advantage – for users of its software.
On the back of these new launches, the first morning of this year’s NZ SharePoint Conference features a dedicated a keynote session themed ‘The Microsoft New Wave of Innovation’ which will be presented by two senior Microsoft execs.
In the session, Microsoft directors Richard Riley and Alexander Oddoz-Mazet will deliver presentations that share the company’s vision for the new Office suite, and will deliver insight into how this vision will play out on the PCs, tablets and smartphones of millions of users around the world.
Riley and Oddoz-Mazet will be joined by local Microsoft experts Zaid Alkadhi and Paul Dolley, who will demonstrate new features in the Office suite and the latest technology in Microsoft’s unified communications platform, Lync.
This key session is just one element in what promises to be the best New Zealand SharePoint Conference yet, featuring an array of renowned international and local SharePoint experts who will address topics ranging from cloud strategy and enterprise social networking, to business productivity, public websites and governance.

Richard Riley is director of the SharePoint core marketing team. His team is responsible for everything from the SharePoint Store, Developer and IT Pro technical readiness, to core GTM strategy.
He has worked for Microsoft for over 12 years in both technical and marketing roles and has over 17 years industry experience.
Alexander Oddoz-Mazet is Director of Product Marketing for the Asia Pacific region at Microsoft, managing Business Productivity Solutions. He is responsible for business and marketing strategy of Lync, Exchange and SharePoint server products.
