Microsoft Lync, a fully integrated MS Outlook and Office phone system, is on offer to channel partners through MHA Cloud Computing.

Lync is a one-stop shop for access to phone calls, email, voicemail, appointments, instant messaging and video conferencing and can be accessed from any platform or a Lync desk phone.

Up until now, Lync has mainly been an enterprise solution but MHA is able to offer it as software-as-a-service with external calling to bring it into the reach of small to medium businesses.

MHA channel manager Dan Ballard said in a statement, "Lync enables organisations with multiple offices or satellite workers to communicate better with their colleagues". No separate PABX is needed as full functionality is built-in to the software.
