Microsoft Dynamics 2012 launched
Local partner Intergen is predicting a strong uptake of Microsoft’s new ERP product, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, with one client, Hokitika dairy co-op Westland Milk Products, already working on implementing the solution in its business.
Intergen’s Dynamics practice principal, James Page, says the ability to anticipate and meet changing business needs is a key feature of the product.
"Dynamics AX 2012 accommodates business change through its flexible and adaptive architecture,” Page says, "ensuring change is a configuration activity rather than customisation.”
Page says Intergen has had access to Dynamics AX 2012 since the start of this year through Microsoft’s Technology Adoption Programme.
"That meant we’ve been able to work with clients well in advance to identify business cases where there are clear benefits for the upgrade.”
Dynamics AX 2012 will be a key part of Intergen’s Dynamics Day conference, to be held in Auckland on August 10.
