One New Zealand, a leading communications and connectivity company, announced the appointment of two key figures to its executive team. The company confirmed on 18 October 2023, that Nick Judd has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with Mike Purchase taking on the position of Enterprise Director.

CEO Jason Paris noted the company's global search for the roles, stating, "I'm proud to appoint two passionate kiwis who are the best at what they do. The calibre of leaders that we have in New Zealand makes me hugely optimistic about our country's future." He added that the pair would play key roles in helping the company to continue delivering "the safest, smartest and simplest connectivity, advice and service for our customers."

Nick Judd joins One NZ following three years as CFO of Tourism Holdings and over 15 years in various roles at Air New Zealand, culminating as its Chief Strategy, Networks and Alliances Officer. Judd, a chartered accountant, will officially start his CFO role at One NZ in early 2024.

Paris expressed his enthusiasm at this new appointment, stating, "Nick brings an incredible wealth of experience to One NZ. Telecommunications is a fast-evolving sector and his background in financial management, leadership, strategy and driving commercial outcomes will be of huge benefit to the business,"

Speaking on his appointment, Nick Judd said, "I'm really looking forward to a new challenge in a different sector. I've admired the transformation One NZ has been on in the past few years, both in terms of its rebrand, but also the boldness it has shown in its technology, customer service and commercial strategies. I'm excited by the opportunities ahead."

Mike Purchase's promotion to Enterprise Director was confirmed after operating in the interim role for several months. Over the past seven years, Purchase has managed key large business and government customer accounts within One NZ's Enterprise division.

Paris highlighted the company's vision saying, "We're building New Zealand's safest and most resilient network and becoming the technology partner of choice for this country's largest private and public sector entities. Mike brings a wealth of experience helping our enterprise customers integrate the latest tech solutions to stay connected and protected,". Purchase stated his commitment to the team, pledging to "support our customers with cutting-edge technology solutions," and focus on developing the suite of enterprise connectivity products.
