Online retail specialists' US$2m app appeal
Mon, 23rd Jan 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Developers working on tools for online retailers are being invited to submit their app ideas to e-retail platform BigCommerce, which is offering a share of its US$2 million ‘Integration Fund' as an incentive.

Developers will receive up to US$20,000 from the fund if their app idea is deemed to ‘make it easier for BigCommerce clients to run their businesses and/or help them attract more visitors, orders or repeat purchases'.

The apps also have to make use of the BigCommerce API.

Based in Sydney, BigCommerce also has an office in Austin, Texas; the company boasts over 20,000 clients in 65 different countries.

Go here for more info, and here to submit an idea.
