Qrious reaches to Premier tier status with Snowflake
Aotearoa New Zealand's Qrious, part of the Spark Business Group, has upgraded to Premier tier partner status with Snowflake, one of the world's leading data cloud company.
According to Qrious, tthe announcement heralds a significant advancement towards leveraging data and cloud computing technologies to help countless New Zealand businesses transition away from legacy systems.
As modern businesses are confronted with the task of juggling traditional systems with data-driven and cloud-based solutions, Qrious, with its newly-acquired status, aims to steer this transition smoothly. The multifaceted benefits of the Snowflake Data Cloud enable fast, user-friendly, and flexible data storage, processing, and analytic solutions to support various Aotearoa New Zealand companies on their digital evolution journey.
Qrious Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Ponsford, explained about the upgraded status, "Achieving Premier tier status with Snowflake implies that we have displayed proficiency in and loyalty to Snowflake's avant-garde technologies.
"We are committed to leveraging them for our clients, readying them for the upcoming innovation wave," he said.
Snowflake's Country Manager for Aotearoa New Zealand, Tony Shaw, regards the partnership between Qrious and Snowflake's Data Cloud as a turnkey combination that offers a powerful, streamlined transition to the cloud. This translates into leveraging and mobilising data-centric services for businesses.
Recently, Apex NZ, a leading local business, reaped the benefits of Qrious's collaborated endeavour with Snowflake's Data Cloud. The partnership aimed to design and launch a modern data platform with Snowflake, using DBT for modelling and FiveTran for ingesting data into the Snowflake Data Cloud. The project successfully shortened the duration of running a tax year-end report for Apex's bigger client. Where it initially took over seven hours, the modernised system enables this in just seven minutes. Moreover, it facilitates running the entire report for three large clients and several smaller ones.
Stephen Ponsford relayed his enthusiasm about similar accomplishments in the near future. He said, "We're excited about continuing to help local businesses harness the prowess of cloud technology to multiply their efficiency and impact.
"Moreover, we're proud to be accomplishing this to a high standard, working closely with Snowflakem," he added.
According to Qrious, as part of the Snowflake's Partner Network, the company will unlock the potential of the Data Cloud with a broad array of tools and partner resources. Becoming a Snowflake partner certifies partnerships and enables customers to integrate Snowflake's flexibility, performance, and ease of use into their existing infrastructure to deliver more meaningful data insights.
