Yesterday

Snom has appointed Fabio Albanini as its new Vice President of Global Sales.

The announcement sees Albanini taking responsibility for the German VoIP specialist's global commercial strategy, aiming to expand market presence, enhance the partner network, and develop new sales channels worldwide.

Fabio Albanini has been a pivotal member of Snom since 2009, having previously served as the Head of International Sales for the EMEA and APAC regions. In this newly appointed role, Albanini will focus on growth within target markets, collaborating with Product Management and Marketing departments. He will also work towards enhancing the global partner network and exploring additional sales channels, including those in the APAC region, while striving to optimise sales processes and business efficiencies for improved customer support.

Albanini's tenure with Snom began with establishing the brand's success in Italy before expanding its footprint in the UK and southern Mediterranean regions starting in 2011. Since 2019, he has been overseeing the development of Snom's presence across EMEA and, from early 2024, in the APAC markets, significantly contributing to increased market share in these areas.

CEO of Snom, Gernot Sagl, commented on Albanini's appointment, stating, "Fabio Albanini embodies Snom values like no one else. His passion for sales, in-depth knowledge of the sector and strong customer orientation make him the ideal candidate for this position. We believe that he will take both our international team and our colleagues in DACH to the next level."

Fabio Albanini expressed his enthusiasm for the new position, saying, "I am very enthusiastic about my new position. Snom has an excellent product portfolio and a determined team. The role of Vice President of Sales is of course an honour for me but also a great responsibility towards Snom. Our success does not only lie in our products, but also in the quality of our business strategies. We have already achieved excellent results so we will first focus on developing infrastructure and existing programmes. There is certainly no shortage of ideas!"

Effective immediately, Albanini assumes the role of Vice President of Global Sales, as he embarks on steering Snom's commercial strategies towards broader growth and innovation.
