Software Education grants international licence
Local firm Software Education signed its first agreement to allow a South African ICT training firm, NextGen, to licence its courses in the first of what the company hopes will be a number of international licences.“We know, from international benchmarking, that a number of Software Education’s courses are world-class, so exporting our IP makes a lot of sense,” said Martyn Jones, MD of Software Education.NextGen, based in South Africa, approached the company in July in order to respond to industry demand for business analysis function in South Africa. NextGen will now deliver Software Education’s Business Systems Analysis course under licence. The course is one of the company’s most successful to date.Software Education has offices in Wellington and Australia and was established nearly 20 years ago. The company offers more than 50 different courses as well as tailored in-house training and international conferences.
