Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre has announced the appointment of Nathan Gardiner as the new Head of Technology and Innovation. Gardiner, formerly of the University of Canterbury, will be joining the Te Pae Christchurch ASM Global team with a robust background in Audio Visual (AV) and Information Communication Technology (ICT).

The General Manager of Te Pae Christchurch, Ross Steele, marked this appointment as an "exciting milestone," noting that Gardiner's "deep understanding of AV and ICT technologies, along with his forward-thinking approach, aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our clients and attendees."

In his new role, Gardiner will oversee all AV and ICT functions at the convention centre and aims to keep Te Pae Christchurch at the forefront of technological innovation within the events industry. His impressive track record in implementing cutting-edge technological solutions will be leveraged to maintain and enhance the venue's reputation for excellence.

Gardiner himself expressed enthusiasm for his new position, stating that "one of the standout features of Te Pae Christchurch is its world-class AV and ICT technology integration within the building. I look forward to working with the Te Pae team to continue to provide the latest and innovative solutions tailored to the needs of our clients to enhance the overall event experience."

Mr. Gardiner assumed his new role in July and is set to drive the center’s technological offerings forward, reinforcing Te Pae Christchurch's position as a leading venue for innovative and extraordinary experiences in the events sector.
