V2 AI opens Singapore hub to expand across Asia-Pacific

V2 AI has opened a regional hub in Singapore, expanding its presence in Asia-Pacific.
It chose Singapore for its role as a technology and innovation centre, government backing for artificial intelligence adoption, and the presence of multinational companies increasing spending on generative AI.
The expansion comes as more large organisations in the region seek outside support to move AI projects from trials into broader business use. V2 AI builds AI systems for organisations in regulated sectors, including financial services, energy, telecommunications and government.
Founded in 2023, the company already operates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur. The Singapore base adds to that footprint as V2 AI seeks broader regional reach.
Craig Howe, Chief Executive Officer of V2 AI, said the decision reflects a shift in customer demand across the region.
"The timing is right, and the opportunity is clear," Howe said.
"Enterprise organisations across APAC are entering a new phase of AI adoption. They're looking for partners who can move beyond proofs of concept to deliver enterprise-grade AI that is secure, governed and delivers measurable business outcomes. That's exactly where V2 AI has built its reputation, and Singapore provides the ideal platform for our next phase of growth," he added.
Regional build-out
The Singapore operation will be led by Hannah Williams, Managing Director, who has experience working with enterprise organisations across Asia-Pacific. Her remit includes establishing the business locally as V2 AI builds out its regional presence.
The local team will cover leadership, sales, consulting, engineering, delivery and change management. The structure is intended to support customers and partner relationships across Asia alongside the company's existing operations in Australia and Kuala Lumpur.
"V2 AI is building a local team in Singapore spanning leadership, sales, consulting, engineering, delivery and change management to support customers and our partnerships throughout Asia and strengthen its position as a leading enterprise AI partner. This will complement our existing footprint across Australia and Kuala Lumpur," Williams said.
Market demand
Singapore has become a focal point for technology companies seeking a base for regional operations, particularly in cloud computing, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Its appeal for companies entering or expanding in Asia often rests on access to multinational customers, a relatively mature regulatory environment and public sector support for digital adoption.
For AI consultancies, that backdrop has coincided with a wider shift in buying patterns among large companies. Many businesses that spent the past two years testing generative AI tools are now focused on governance, deployment and integration as they decide whether to roll systems out across larger parts of their operations.
V2 AI's work is concentrated in more complex environments, especially in heavily regulated industries where security, governance and oversight are central to technology deployments. That focus has helped shape its position in the market as clients seek suppliers that can manage both technical delivery and compliance concerns.
Partnerships
The Singapore expansion also builds on V2 AI's partnerships with Anthropic, AWS and Databricks. Those relationships give it access to foundation models, cloud infrastructure and data tools used in enterprise AI projects.
That partner network matters in a market where consultancies are increasingly judged on their ability to combine advisory work with implementation. Companies buying AI services often want firms that can help select models, manage data, address governance requirements and integrate applications with existing systems.
V2 AI describes itself as a data and AI consultancy serving some of the region's largest brands. With the addition of Singapore, it now has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
