Veeam bookings revenue soaring

FYI, this story is more than a year old

VMware backup specialists Veeam have announced staggering growth across the board in their latest quarterly earnings report.

Total bookings revenue grew 181% compared with the third quarter of 2010, the company says, with new license bookings revenue rising 175% in the same period.

5000 new customers were added in the quarter, Veeam adds.

In the APAC region, new license sales increased more than 250%, with Australia representing a particular success at 420% growth.

The company’s APAC headquarters in Sydney were moved to a new location to accommodate the growth, Veeam says.

Ratmir Timashev, Veeam president and CEO, says the key to the continued growth is regular releases of innovative technology, such as the new Veeam Backup & Replication v6 released in the September quarter.

"Also contributing to our outstanding growth are the strong employee and partner teams we have built,” Timashev adds.
