Wavelink partners with Acredia to enhance aged care solutions

Wed, 4th Sep 2024

Wavelink, a distributor of connected health and aged care solutions, has announced a new partnership with Acredia, a software platform tailored to the evolving needs of the aged care sector. This collaboration will allow Wavelink to distribute Acredia's modular software system through its channel network.

Acredia's platform aims to improve care quality in aged care facilities by integrating operational efficiency and compliance into a unified system. The platform's modular design and adaptability facilitate rapid compliance with legislative changes. Additionally, as a cloud-based solution, it scales with organisational growth and supports strategic expansion.

Central to this offering is Acredia's Care Direct app, which works seamlessly with mobile devices to provide a holistic aged care solution that enhances resident care. The app is user-friendly, supporting care workers in their daily tasks and improving data consistency, reporting accuracy, and staff productivity. Its simple menu system and easy-to-understand icons make it accessible to a broad range of users with minimal training required.

The Care Direct app utilises near-field communication (NFC) technology, enabling care workers to scan tags or QR codes placed at the entrance of residents' rooms to gain immediate access to the residents' profile and task lists. This feature streamlines reporting and ensures efficient and accurate delivery of care.

Ilan Rubin, chief executive officer of Wavelink, commented, "Wavelink is thrilled to partner with Acredia to bring an innovative and integrated care solution to the market. This collaboration leverages the strengths of both companies so Wavelink's partners can deliver a seamless and robust care management system, enhancing resident care. The synergy between Wavelink and Acredia exemplifies a shared commitment to improving care delivery and operational efficiency in aged care facilities."

Dr. Charles Chang, chief executive officer of Acredia, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, "Partnering with Wavelink is an exciting milestone for Acredia as the business continues to expand its presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets. This collaboration significantly enhances Acredia's capacity to deliver innovative and comprehensive care solutions. Acredia's Care Direct app offers a seamless, user-friendly system that meets the growing needs of aged care facilities. Acredia is confident that this partnership will help establish a strong market presence for the organisation and set new standards in care efficiency."

Acredia provides additional modules for quality and risk management, human resources compliance, incident management, and a family mobile app that facilitates communication and engagement between residents, families, and the aged care facility.

Ilan Rubin added, "This collaboration delivers a holistic solution that enhances the quality of care in aged care facilities. Wavelink is confident that this partnership will bring significant benefits to the market, especially as the focus on quality care delivery remains paramount."
