Westcon Solutions becomes UiPath's distributor in Hong Kong

Wed, 8th Apr 2026

Westcon Solutions has signed a distribution agreement with UiPath in Hong Kong and Macau, becoming UiPath's strategic distributor in both markets.

Under the agreement, Westcon Solutions, the Hong Kong subsidiary of Westcon-Comstor, will distribute the full UiPath platform across the two territories. The portfolio includes Agent Builder, Maestro, Test Cloud and other automation products for businesses deploying artificial intelligence and workflow tools.

The deal gives channel partners in Hong Kong and Macau a single distribution route for UiPath products through Westcon Solutions. Partners will also have access to white-labelled professional services, pre-sales engineering support and go-to-market programmes run by the distributor.

The model is built around services for resellers, systems integrators and other partners. Westcon-Comstor's Intelligent Demand sales platform will also provide lead generation and sales insights to partners selling UiPath products.

Regional push

The agreement expands the companies' broader relationship and strengthens UiPath's channel strategy in Greater China. It comes as automation suppliers look beyond isolated, task-based deployments to broader enterprise projects spanning testing, operations, compliance and AI-assisted workflows.

For partners, the consolidated structure is intended to standardise enablement, service packaging and commercial terms in Hong Kong and Macau. Westcon-Comstor expects this to help firms build recurring revenue as automation projects grow larger and become more deeply embedded in business operations.

UiPath has been increasing its focus on agentic automation, a term software suppliers use for systems that combine AI models, automation tools and workflow controls. In financial and regulated sectors, the company is also positioning its products for processes such as anti-money laundering and know your customer checks.

Hong Kong remains an important market for enterprise software vendors targeting financial services, logistics and cross-border commerce, while Macau offers a smaller but active base in gaming, hospitality and public services. Distributors often manage the two markets together because of their close commercial links and concentration of regional channel partners.

Patrick Aronson, APAC Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Westcon-Comstor, said the agreement responds to rising demand from partners for practical support as customers expand automation programmes.

"Hong Kong and Macau are entering a new phase of digital acceleration, where AI powered automation is no longer experimental but mission critical. Partners are looking for practical, services led pathways to convert this momentum into sustainable growth," Aronson said.

"By expanding our collaboration with UiPath, we are giving partners in Hong Kong and Macau a streamlined route to market, backed by the expertise and programmes they need to deliver meaningful customer outcomes and accelerate revenue."

Pallas Gao, Area Vice President, Greater China Region & Mongolia at UiPath, described the partnership as an important step for the company's regional ecosystem.

"This partnership with Westcon-Comstor is a strategic milestone that empowers our ecosystem across Hong Kong and Macau, with the aim of unlocking the full potential of agentic automation to drive enterprise-wide transformation and strategic growth," Gao said.

"By combining Westcon-Comstor's specialized services with the UiPath Platform, we are enabling enterprises to move beyond simple task automation toward autonomous, high-impact business workflows. Together, we are accelerating digital transformation and delivering faster, more sustainable outcomes for the Hong Kong and Macau market."
