Telecom is turning its proposal to compensate customers affected by the XT outage last week into a media event.
In a short statement, Telecom says CEO Paul Reynolds will hold a media conference at 2pm today the Dunedin Public Art Gallery “to announce what Telecom is doing for customers affected by last week's XT outage.”
The outage - which affected XT customers south of Taupo - began around 10.30am on Wednesday morning and service wasn't fully restored until 10pm Friday.
