Y Soft selects Fairuz Hairi as solution consultant for APJ

Enterprise office solutions provider Y Soft has appointed Fairuz Hairi as solution consultant for the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

Hairi's main responsibilities are top assist Y Soft's partners and their customers in scoping, designing and implementing best-of-breed solutions, while reducing IT infrastructure costs and enabling flexibility and scalability through cloud migration.

Hairi will also work closely with Y Soft's partners to deliver advanced training sessions and share his technical expertise.

Y Soft Singapore regional sales manager Andy Lau comments, “We are excited to welcome Fairuz into our growing Y Soft Asia Pacific and Japan team. With the continuing move to cloud deployments and the associated need to secure systems, Fairuz provides a level of knowledge in various IT sectors that will assist our partners throughout Asia Pacific in delivering real value to their clients.”

Hairi has more than 16 years' experience in IT, primarily focusing on infrastructure solutions for server, storage and networks, and has experience with design and IT training. He has also worked in the cloud and cybersecurity market, focusing specifically on threat analysis and forensics. In Fairuz's most recent role, he worked in the offensive security space assisting government intelligence, law enforcement agencies and the military in evidence collection, web intelligence (WEBINT) and open source intelligence (OSINT) tools.

“I'm looking forward to using my extensive experience in IT infrastructure and security to grow Y Soft in the region and assist our channel partners grow their own businesses,” says Hairi.

“From my industry experience, I will be helping businesses in the region become more knowledgeable in their IT solutions through insights, expertise and a customer-first approach.

In November 2019, Y Soft appointed industry veterans charged with spearheading the company's growth. Barry Löwer was appointed as the new Chief Sales Officer (CSO), and Lukáš Maňásek moved the position of Chief of Staff, Global Sales, and will leverage his strong relationships and strong internal knowledge to support Y Soft's regional sales teams, their partners and customers.

Ondřej Župka was hired for the newly created role of Vice President of Manufacturing to lead Y Soft's growing manufacturing operations and strategy.
