DE-CIX & Epsilon expand partnership to address APAC AI growth

Fri, 5th Dec 2025

DE-CIX has expanded its partnership with Epsilon Telecommunications, a KT subsidiary, to address rising demand for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure across Asia-Pacific. Epsilon has been elevated to Premium Reseller Partner status within the DE-CIX R3 Partner Programme, enabling it to provide DE-CIX's suite of interconnection services throughout the region and globally.

AI demand surge

The growing adoption of AI and cloud workloads is transforming enterprise requirements for digital connectivity across the Asia-Pacific region. According to research cited by the companies, AI usage rates in APAC now lead globally, with 70% of businesses using generative AI compared to the worldwide average of 51%. Enterprises are seeking network solutions that deliver low-latency, secure connectivity across distributed environments.

Extended collaboration

The two companies have a 13-year history of working together. The new partnership builds on this foundation, further integrating Epsilon's interconnectivity platform with DE-CIX's portfolio of services. Enterprises across APAC will now have broader access to peering, cloud connectivity, and other enterprise interconnection solutions via Epsilon's channels.

"Epsilon and DE-CIX have built a strong, mutually beneficial relationship over the past 13 years, growing together to better serve our customers on a global scale," said Ivo Ivanov, CEO, DE-CIX. "Epsilon is an important strategic partner for DE-CIX, with widespread reach across the APAC region and strong expertise in the wholesale reseller business. The promotion to Premium Partner demonstrates the strength and success of our ongoing collaboration as we continue to innovate and expand our services for enterprises amidst the AI boom."

Enterprise benefits

As a subsidiary of KT, Epsilon has a significant footprint in Asian markets, enabling it to serve a larger customer base. The enhanced partnership aims to provide enterprises with improved connectivity for modern, data-intensive AI applications and for hybrid and multi-cloud environments. DE-CIX and Epsilon say the collaboration enables secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructure tuned to current business requirements.

"Working with DE-CIX has enabled us to deliver greater value and innovation to our customers, as the market continues to shift with AI at the center," said Mark Daley, Director of Digital Strategy and Business Development, Epsilon. "Enterprises across the APAC region are looking for smarter, more cost-efficient ways to connect distributed workloads. Our strengthened partnership with DE-CIX enhances our ability to meet those needs and support customers worldwide, no matter the challenge."

New partner status

Epsilon's elevation to Premium Reseller Partner comes as DE-CIX recognises partners in its R3 Partner Programme for their sales performance and commitment to collective growth. The promotion entitles Epsilon to exclusive benefits, including dedicated support, margins, and joint marketing initiatives as it scales its service offering for enterprises worldwide.
