Logicalis appoints Arissa Wong as HR VP for APAC region

Logicalis has announced the appointment of Arissa Wong as Vice President of Human Resources for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

The newly created role comes in the wake of the departure of Scott Brown, the former head of Employee Experience for Logicalis Australia.

Arissa Wong, who has been serving as the head of HR for Logicalis Asia since 2020, brings over a decade of HR experience to her new position. She will now oversee HR operations for the entire APAC region, including Australia. During her tenure at Logicalis Asia, Wong has been influential in shaping talent strategies and enhancing employee engagement.

Chong-Win Lee, CEO of Logicalis APAC, commented on Wong's appointment, stating, "Arissa has already had a huge impact on Logicalis’s HR efforts across Asia. She’s been instrumental in making sure our Logicalis HR strategy lines up with our business goals. In her new role, Wong will focus on aligning HR initiatives across the region. Her responsibilities will include driving Logicalis's talent acquisition, employee experience, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programmes. Wong will also ensure that employees have opportunities to develop fulfilling careers within the company.

Additionally, Logicalis APAC has appointed Tanur Parira as HR business partner for Australia. Parira will continue to support APAC initiatives, including DEI, and will contribute to shaping the service delivery centre (SDC) in Malaysia. Parira will report directly to Wong and collaborate closely with the Logicalis Australia team.

Logicalis APAC has set ambitious targets to improve the workplace environment for employees, achieve gender equity, and eliminate the gender pay gap. As the company continues to strengthen its position in the APAC market, its HR leadership will play a vital role in supporting expansion efforts and ensuring that Logicalis remains an employer of choice in the region.
