Vetta Group merges multiple tech brands under single name

Wed, 25th Feb 2026

New Zealand technology services provider Vetta Group is consolidating several operating brands into a single group identity, a move it says will simplify engagement for customers, partners and suppliers.

The Vetta Group name will become the public-facing brand across the group's platforms ahead of a formal amalgamation taking effect on 1 April 2026. Services, teams and day-to-day operations will remain unchanged during the transition.

The consolidation covers Vetta Online, Reliance Networks, Aorangi EFTPOS and Timaru Tech. The group operates across internet connectivity, IT, security, payments and field services, with offerings including copper, wireless and fibre connectivity, web hosting, domain names, and virtual and dedicated servers.

Shaun Fisher, Operations Manager and Director at Vetta Group, described the work as a major internal programme to bring the brands together into a single entity.

Single Identity

As the business has grown, its brands have increasingly worked closely together. Vetta Group said moving to one identity reflects how the organisation now operates and reduces confusion created by multiple trading names.

It described the change as organisational and branding-related, and positioned it as part of a longer-term foundation for the business.

A company blog post described a 12-month period of review and customer feedback. It said the group has built and acquired companies over time, expanding the range of services available across the organisation. It also noted that the current structure can leave customers uncertain about who to contact and how services are delivered and billed.

Customer touchpoints

Existing contact points, including phone numbers and email addresses, will remain unchanged. New contact information for the Vetta Group brand will be published from mid-March.

Vetta Group also flagged changes to how invoices are presented. From 1 April 2026, new invoices and statements will be issued from Vetta Group as a trading name of Vetta Trading.

Customers using automated payment methods such as credit card, direct debit and Online EFTPOS will see transactions presented as coming from Vetta Group. Customers who pay manually will need to use bank account details from 1 April 2026; these are the same details previously used for Vetta Online.

Corporate structure

The group outlined two legal steps behind the consolidation. Vetta Online will change its legal name to Vetta Trading before 1 April 2026, and from that date it will trade as Vetta Group. Reliance Networks and Aorangi EFTPOS 2020 will then be amalgamated into Vetta Trading.

Existing service agreements and terms already agreed by customers will continue under Vetta Trading. New agreements from 1 April 2026 will sit under Vetta Trading policies.

Vetta Group is managing the transition while maintaining services across connectivity, hosted infrastructure and payments. The consolidation also brings together lines that typically sit across different supplier ecosystems, including telecommunications access, IT services and EFTPOS-related offerings.

For customers, the most visible changes are expected to be branding across platforms and billing descriptors for invoices and payment transactions. Operations will continue as normal during the roll-out.

In a LinkedIn post, Fisher highlighted the scale of the internal integration work and said the convergence is designed to improve service delivery for customers and partners.

"Massive piece of work happening in Vetta Group land currently, with us working through amalgamating and converging our brands into a single unified entity, to improve service delivery to our customers and partners. Exciting times ahead!" said Shaun Fisher, Operations Manager / Director, Vetta Group.

Vetta Group said it will share more details over the coming weeks as the transition continues.
